text messages recieved from new i phone

hi just bought my first nokia n95 8g love it but one problem that is annoying me. my boyfriend has the new iphone 3gs and when he texts or rings me only the actual number comes up not his name i've saved it on the memory card and the sim card but it still happens. please help?

This has nothing to do with the iPhone but has always been a problem with Nokia. If you have the same number saved twice then only the number will show -not the name. In fact, should you have two numbers which share the last six digits, the same problem will occur. You should compare this with the elegance of the iPhone when several instances of the same number are stored.

Delete the instance of his number on the SIM.
