SYGIC MCGUIDER V 7.70.1458 S60 V3 *****SIGNED*****
Hiyah all, i've been using this gps software for about 6 weeks now and i think its fantastic... very very similar to garmin (certaintly not any worse) but with a couple of diferences, I especially like the voice directions as they are a lot more specific for example if your on the M5 your exit is approaching the voice says take next exit, the A153 or B354 or whatever, and the signpost option and lane assist option as well are great atributes. JUST TAKE A LOOK AT IT.
Here is the video demo of McGuider from their web site:
http://www.mcguider.com/en/demo.htmlBelow you'll find everything you need to install this fantastic gps onto your n95. It may look like a lot of writing but i guarantee you all it is so easy and really not a lot to it. basicly install an sis and drag and drop a few files and its done.
It really is an easy program to install, the instructions ive typed up i think are easily followable and if you use your gps give this program a go it really is a good one.
Make a new folder on your desk top and call it McGuider and download and save these files to it.
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=A2YGTIMK ( main program)

When installed disconect phone and reconect in data transfer mode.
open my computer on desk top and double click on removeable drive (f:) or whatever your phone is. leave this screen open in half screen
If its not still open, double click file "sygic McGuider 7.70.1467" to open it and you'll see 4 files, 3 of which you need to transfer to phone memmory. the drag and drop method i find the easiest, for that reason we have the 2 pages open on our moniter ( phone memmory and sygic McGuider 7.70.1467)
The 3 files to move are the DRIVE - MAPS and RES files.
Once you'v transferred the 3 of them to your phone memory disconnect your phone from computer and close all files on computer
Re-open your McGuider file on desk top and double click file SDKGPub (keygen) insert password (

Once thats done SKIP the next screen as we now need to load the maps. You can look at it later on in the menu. Close sygic McGuider
TO LOAD THE MAPS COULDNT BE EASIER. As weve unlocked the "basemap" It now acceps any countrys maps without any further unlocking. Just follow these steps:
Connect your phone to pc in data transfer mode and double click removeable drive (f:) or whatever your phone is. Find the file called maps and double click to open it
It should contain 4 files: Iberia.mlm - licence - Europe.mlm and a wcl file.
open McGuider file on desk top and open the zip file for the map. Inside there should be a file called "GBR" Simply drag this file and drop it into the open maps file on your phones memory.
And if you download more maps for other countries just do the same, copy the file to the maps file in your phone memory
AND HEY PRESTO. Its done.
Disconnect your phone go to applications and open McGuider, If it asks what maps to use, choose multimap europe map wait untill it loads and your set.
at this point if you want, you dont have to. exit McGuider and start it up again, this only serves to show you the start up screen and nothing else, now its fully funcional.
Its very easy to use, just press a few buttons when its turned on youll soon work it out, but any problems please feel free to ask. Those of us that have been lucky enough to have had garmin installed will find its very, very, very, similar but with some ( in my opinion) great improvements.
Give it a go, and if you dont like it erase the program from app. mgr. and delete the 3 files from memory. nothing lost. But it is a shit hot program.
****** NOTE******* I had nothing to do with the programs for this i "borrowed" them from the spanish equivelant of this site all i did was the write up
but feel free to ask anything or if you have probs installing. ( Gracias specter)
Enjoy. Simon.
PLEASE LEAVE ALL OPINIONS ABOUT THIS SOFTWARE FOR FUTURE USERS.
The N95 includes a built-in accelerometer. This was originally only used for video stabilization and photo orientation (to keep landscape or portrait shots oriented as taken).
Nokia Research Center has allowed an application interface directly to the accelerometer, allowing software to use the data from it. Nokia has released a step counter application to demonstrate this.[12][13] Another Nokia-created application taking advantage of the accelerometer is Nokia Sports Tracker.
