Silent Camera Tone

Hi! How in the world do you turn off the camera tone??? There are only four options in my N95 all with tones! Even if i put my phone on silent profile the camera still makes a sound when taking a picture!! Help anyone!

My phone works on silent with no camera sounds. might be your phone.

You can use cCam to take pictures without the shutter sound if you camera always makes a noise.

I've not tried it myself, but I've come across this discussion on other N95 sites.

And for the record, my N95 8gig always makes the shutter noises, even if it's on the silent profile and apparently this is the case for other users too (after a google search).

I have a totally unbranded and unlocked N95 8gig that I bought from Expansys. I've put the latest firmware on it and it still makes the noise as the OP says.

Mine used to make the shutter noise - even on silent, but now it doesn't... I'm not 100% sure what altered this - it was either unbranding to generic (unlikely) or altering the settings for the "silent" profile

Ive had a play with this eCam but i find the image quality isnt too good.

The quality reminds me of the old camara on my 6280 (2mp) and they were crap.


Id recomend you stick with the nokia cam and just put up with the noise.
