Hey all, stumbled across this site by searching way’s to get my N95’s SatNav to work. I’ve now scared myself with the cost of this thing!!  Shocked

How do I stop it connecting to the GPRS way, is that the two arrow’s showing opposite ways? I ain't planned a route but loaded ‘map’s to try and get a lock, it finally did that today, but I don’t want to be paying £8 everytime I connect to Map’s/Satnav!  How do I stop Vodaphone taking my credit?

To stop the greedy maps application from eating all your GPRS allowance you need to:

  • Open the MAPS application
  • Press Options
  • Press Settings
  • Press Network
  • Select "Use Network"
  • Change this to "Never"
  • Save your changes and Exit the MAPS application
