Orange don't think they will stock the phone!!!

I Spoke to Orange today. Their rep told me that they do not think they will be stocking the N95 (software issues he said).

I started on the Orange website which, as you said shows that they will be stocking the phone. When I phone to check the date the rep was very dismissive about the possibility of stocking it. He likened it to the Nokia N80 which they did not stock?

There have been several reports of certain networks (Orange and 3) not stocking the N95 due to software issues... I *THINK* the issue is more of a compatability issue with the N95's firmware and the networks own branded software than a bug with the N95 though.

The N95 is such a massive phone this year that I doubt any network will pass it up - Orange may well decide to let un-branded phones through rather than loose a lot of customers?

Even if Orange "officially" do not stock the phone - you can always rely on 3rd party phone suppliers (e2save, carphonewarehouse etc) to sell the phone on Orange using generic handsets and Orange contract SIM packages
