Well, i decided to purchase a month of my Navigation software to giev it a test, im going away next month so wanted to see how it handled. To be honest it aint bad so im happy-ish!

However, I had read obviously we need to purchase the woman speaking the navigation itself, not the case I have found!

I downloaded the Maps software from Smart2go, hooked it up to see if there were any map updates or anything and I found a section that showed the Voice Nagivation option with a '+' icon, clicking it installed it on my phone and then, to my astonishment doing a journey test as previously mentioned, the woman piped up! At no point have I paid for the voice licence yet and it has disapeared form my Extra Services, also in General Option's, I cna select the UK Voice no problem.

Anyone else found this or wanna give it a try?

Paul,

Did you use Nokia Map Loader for downloading? The "+" you're referring to is to add whatever you decide to download.  Roll Eyes I have done the same from Map Loader, chose South African map and both english (Eng & Eng US) voice navigation and neither one of them works. I can do the hole tootie - GPS, route finder, simulation etc, but the moment I start navigation, it promps to purchase voice navigation. This pisses me off, I paid "X" amount for the phone, for the same amount' I could have bought a E65 + a Garmin Nuvi with better options than the N95 navigator Shocked Shocked

You get the first three day free, well thats what is said when I tried it.  and it worked for three days before asking for payment.  Mind you I did find it to be a bit pants.  lost count of the number of times I was told to take the thired exit on a round about that only had 2 exits. or to be told in 500 yard take the third exit on the round about when I was still on a motorway.
