N95 records video in 3GP, how to convert it to mpeg?

Although I have had my phone for a year I have never tried to convert from the 3GP viideo to anything else.
Now I have some video on the phone which I want to run on a digital photo frame, which only accepts mpeg format.
I have copied the .3gp files to the PC, but whatever (free) converter I use the result is like watching an underwater ballet that includes the sound as well!
Has anyone tried to do it and have they any suggestions on which video converter is best? I have tried quickmediaconverter, xilisoft, and prism.

i have got an original n95 in plum on payg its been playing up for about a week now !!!!!

i can make calls , recieve calls , recieve texts but can not send texts it comes up saying

"General: Memory full. Close some applications and try again . "

so i made sure that nothing is open , even transfered as much as i can on to memory card off of phone memory !!!!

can anyone PLEASE PLEASE help me PLEASE HuhHuhHuh?
