Lost Navigation

I recently updated my firmware and have since lost my navigation upgrade. Is there any way of retreiving this without having to pay for it all over again??

I think it IS possible, you will need to contact smart2go and ask them though... I think they can re-issue you with a licence for your IMEI number....?

Turns out its very simple! You just follow it through the stages to buy and when it offers you the licence period choice, press options then update. It knows you've already purchased the upgrade and its enabled again!

Nokia N95 8GB, latest firmware, latest maps, was working. Now all I have is a blank screen. Should I reinstall the Smart2go software?

I reinstalled the Smart2go program and same thing. I show a GPS position but no map, just a blank screen. Help.

It sounds like you do not have any MAPS installed - either download and install them via the Nokia MapLoader software on your PC or activate GPRS and download them directly to your N95 (data charges apply unless you have a data plan)

Thanks N95Tony, I used Maploader and first deleted what I "had", then reinstalled all the maps. Is working now.

Hi, Can anyone help?

I've just got an N95 and been using the preloaded maps without any problems, when i opened the maps after a few moments a got a satalite fix and it zoomed in on my location.

I then downloaded Smart2go Map Loader, since then when i open maps i can get a satalite fix but it doesnt find my location or show any maps info.

Is there a way I can uninstall smart2go and revert back to what I had?

Any help would be appreciated

latest map loader is version 1.2 use it and install the map of city u require and try again

Use maploader and DELETE any maps on your phone before attempting to add new ones - I think the Nokia MAPS application on your phone and the PC maploader save the information is a different place and it get's confused
