GPS maps - 'plan-route' function lost due to upgrade

I have an n95 8Gb with free sat nav.  I stupidly used the update function to update the phone software and promptly lost the free 'plan-route' function on my maps menu! 

I can still access maps and can still go through a routine using 'find place' to do the route to and from, but when I select 'start navigation' it asks me to subscribe to voice guidance and won't navigate unless I do!

The previous 'plan route' function was used to navigate when I first purchased the phone but the update stripped the option from the menu -this absolutely f'kin infuriates me

How do I sort this out?  Nokia helpdesk reckons I can't sort it because of the upgrade!  That can't be right?  HELP!

I NEARLY made the same mistake as you with the N95-1 classic, but afte some digging around, I found out Nokia is ripping people off with upgrades ... bad enough the phone is so expensive... now they rip us off something that was there when we bought the phone ...
