My phone will not pick up the GPS signal, no matter how long I leave it. I have the slide open and a clear line of sight to the sky but nothing, any suggestions?
2nd query is this, how much space do the european maps take up? Is there suffient space on the phone memory to hold it? I think I deleted all my maps by mistake.
Final query, is is possible to just download the country maps you need and not the whole of europe?

When you use the maps for the first time, a satellite lock can take several minutes, sometimes 10-20 minutes even. Just as a matter of interest, when you open maps and it comes to the map screen, if you go to  "options>view>satellite info" , do you see black bars with numbers next to the ... once all thae bars reach the end, this is when you get a satellite/gps lock. If the phone says "no satellite info",then you're never gonna get a satellite lock.... if you've tried this a number of times but you're not getting anywhere, chances are you have defective hardware... take it bak to the supplier....
Map space differs, and I dont know how much Europe maps occupy, but its not advisable to store on phone memory... even if it fits, eventually ur gonna slow your phone down.....
Im sure that you can just download just your region,and not the whole Europe .....
