Can't convert videos - please help

Hi,

I've got a few avi files on my computer that I want to convert and save to my n95. I'm using the converter on the PC suite media player but it seems to "stick" after a while. The conversion bar stops about 25% of the way across and doesn't move any further no matter how long I leave it. Is there any other way of converting and putting videos on my phone?

Also, where on my phone/memory card should I save the converted videos (or ones that don't need converting)? I've tried to save a couple of wmv's to various folders but niether the gallery or the video player seems to locate them.

Hi, i have been using a program called "any video converter", it converts most video formats into mp4 which work perfectly on my N95. its freeware with option to upgrade to pro version which includeds dvd conversion. have converted lots of files from home movies to div x movies without hassle, its quick too and also suppports direct download and conversion from youtube. hope this helps.

I have managed to convert my videos to MP4 and choose to transfer file from my PC to my N95.

I explore my N95 and choose the video folders ...



there is an existing video file (which I recorded with my N95 earlier) ..



and so I thought I could copy n paste my converted video to the same folder ...



after a couple of seconds, it stopped .... [Parameters incorrect]



What happen?? Can anyone help??

looks to me like you not copying it to the correct folder, try copying it to the root video folder...or to my videos and see if that works.

It still doesn't work like you've mentioned ... could it be of my conversions?

What shld I be converting to, from WMV?
